The Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf. B (Sd.Kfz.101) is a faithful reproduction of the German light tank of World War II. This 1/35 scale model kit, manufactured by Tamiya, perfectly captures the compact lines and technical details of this iconic tank. With a design based on precise studies of a real vehicle, this model offers an authentic building experience for modelers with a passion for military history. The kit includes detailed tracks, a turret with twin MG13 machine guns and several historical marking options.

The Panzerkampfwagen I, often abbreviated to Panzer I, was one of the first tanks used by Germany during World War II. Originally designed in the 1930s under the guise of an "agricultural tractor" to circumvent restrictions imposed after World War I, the Panzer I played an important role in the training of German armoured units. The Ausf. B version is an improvement of the Ausf. A with a more powerful engine (100 hp compared to 57 hp for the Ausf. A) and a slightly longer hull. The Panzer I was first used in the Spanish Civil War, and later in the invasions of Poland and France, as well as on the Eastern Front. Although limited in armament and armor, the Panzer I served as a training and support tank in the early stages of the conflict.

Le set est bien conçu, peut-être un peu simpliste au niveau des détails, l'option add-on peut-être une bonne solution *
