This set of three aluminum shades allows you to paint a wide range of metallic surfaces, adding contrast, variation, and realism to a wide range of modeling subjects. Ideal for aircraft with a bare metal finish, civilian vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, and trucks, as well as spacecraft and other science fiction vehicles. These metallic colors are extremely durable and are not affected by most modeling products or paints. Their extremely fine pigment creates a perfectly smooth finish. The exceptional fluidity of A-Stand products makes them very easy to apply with an airbrush without clogging. They also offer great strength once dry, allowing them to perfectly support any other type of lacquer, enamel, or acrylic paint, as well as all weathering products. In addition, A-Stand paints are resistant to the special masking tapes used in modeling. A-Stand products have a fast touch-drying time of approximately 30 minutes. Apply in thin coats, leaving 30 minutes between coats. Do not flood the surface and allow to dry completely for at least 24 hours. To speed up drying, you can add 30% A-Stand Thinner. The thinner for these paints and varnishes is only suitable for use with an airbrush, not a brush. Remember that all lacquer paints contain toxic components; it is therefore advisable to use a respiratory mask when applying them and to spray these products in a well-ventilated area.
