The Lancia Stratos is a rally car built by the Italian brand Lancia.
Built in the 1970s, this car largely dominated the rally events of the second half of the 1970s.
It won three consecutive World Rally Championship titles, in 1974, 1975 and 1976.

The Stratos was the first car designed with international rallying in mind,which allowed it to win against other models, which at the time were mere adaptations of versions originally intended for mass-produced road use.

The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft.
It allows a high level of detail.
For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41).
A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).
