Harry Potter jigsaw puzzles : Tips & Tricks

Rediscover the magical, breathtaking world of the apprentice wizard with Harry Potter puzzles. 500 or 1000 pieces, it's up to you!

All you need to know about Harry Potter puzzles

Classic or 3D puzzles

A sure-fire way to spend family time, jigsaw puzzles appeal to young and old alike. Classic or 3D puzzle? Puzzlers are often spoilt for choice when it comes to these two versions:

Classic puzzles

Made of cardboard, wood or plastic, classic puzzles feature hollows and protrusions on the edges. To play, all you have to do is fit the pieces together to form a picture. Square or rectangular in shape, they are designed to form a single configuration. The difficulty of classic puzzles varies according to the number of pieces, their dimensions and the size of the assembled image.

Each box can contain from 300 to 10,000 pieces, depending on requirements. Harry Potter puzzles are available in boxes of 500, 1,000 or 3 x 1,000 pieces, to the delight of puzzle fans.

3D puzzles

Invented by Paul-Émile Gallant in 1990, 3D puzzles come directly from Montreal, Quebec. Unlike the classic versions, they take shape in space to represent multiple subjects.

Just as fun and educational as classic puzzles, they're perfect for visualizing in space or creating a 3-D setting. Harry Potter 3D puzzles open the door to a fantasy world in 3 dimensions.

What's the ideal number of pieces for a Harry Potter puzzle?

While there's no ideal number of pieces for a Harry Potter puzzle, it's advisable to start with the smallest, i.e. 100, 300 or 500 pieces.

What are the most iconic places in the Harry Potter world?

Harry Potter fans will be delighted to rediscover the saga's most emblematic locations in dedicated puzzles. The breathtaking Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry will take pride of place before your very eyes, thanks to these impressive Harry Potter puzzles.

Good site, easy to follow and Andy's Hobby models are great. 1/16 models add a new dimension to model making, they are a long and involved build...
