In December 2017, McLaren announced the arrival of a new model in its Ultimate Series lineup, the McLaren Senna, in reference to the legendary driver who won three Formula 1 World Championships with McLaren Racing.
The car lives up to its prestigious name; authorized to drive on the road, it is above all a formidable weapon on the circuit.
Its aggressive styled body, the ultimate synthesis of the company's “form follows function” principle, generates a perfect balance between downforce and aerodynamics.
Placed in a central position, the 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine benefits from competition technologies allowing it to deliver 800hp and a maximum torque of 800Nm, with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The result: top speeds of up to 335km / h.
With only 500 units produced, the McLaren Senna is one of the rarest and most extreme supercars, worthy of joining the Tamiya 1/24 Sports Car series.

The body of the kit is composed of a central monocoque on which are attached the added panels, which allows a hyper realistic reproduction of the car.
● The parts are designed to be assembled into subassemblies of the same shade, making painting much easier.
● Realistic reproduction of the twin turbo V8 engine and visible parts of the ancillary equipment.
● The model can be assembled in European, North American or Japanese version.
● Separate calipers and brake discs.
As the wheels (and discs) spin, the caliper remains stationary for super realism.
● The main display behind the steering wheel has two possible positions: standard for road use or retracted for circuit.
● Metal transfers for McLaren monograms and others.

Scale : 1:24
The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft.
It allows a high level of detail.
For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41).
A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).

- and model glue.
You can also paint the model with a brush (acrylic or enamel paint).
The model consists of different parts to cut and assemble.
Construction time will vary depending on the number of parts.
