Reissue of ref.12033 (first released in 2006) with new Cartograf decals and decoration guide. In 1977, the first turbo-powered Formula 1 appeared in competition, the Renault RS-01, and in 1979 the RS-10 won its first victory at the French Grand Prix. Designed for the 1980 season, the RE-20 was a modified version of the RS-10 with a reduced weight of 30kg and a twin-turbocharged 1.5-litre DOHC V6 engine developing 520hp. Success was immediate for the RE 20 and its French driver duo, Jean-Pierre Jabouille taking pole position in the second and third grands prix in Brazil and South Africa, although the winner of these two races was his teammate René Arnoux; Jabouille will finally win in the tenth round in Austria.
The RE 20 missed out on the 1980 championship title, but was a strong contender and ushered in the turbo era of top-level competition.

Scale : 1:24
The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft. It allows a high level of detail. For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41). A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).

You can also paint the model with a brush (acrylic or enamel paint).
The model consists of different parts to cut and assemble.
Construction time will vary depending on the number of parts.
