The Mercedes-Benz trucks of the SK series, whose acronym means “Schwere Klasse” and identifies the heavy vehicles of the range, were produced from the end of the 1980s by the famous German group. The SK series is a direct evolution of the previous Mercedes NG line, with improvements to the cabin that make it more suitable for long distances. On-board comfort has also been improved thanks to the adoption of new technical and electronic solutions. Compared to the previous series, the design has also been considerably improved to adapt to the aesthetic canons typical of the "automotive" industry of the time. It has been appreciated by the market for its reliability, robustness and operational flexibility in all types of use. Its longevity in the market is actually linked to good commercial success. The SK series was replaced from the end of the 90s by the first versions of the new Mercedes Actros.

Scale : 1:24
The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft. It allows a high level of detail. For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41). A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).
