The great need for locomotives in Germany during World War II explains the explosion in production.
First of all the construction of the classes 44, 50 and 86 was simplified, and orders for other types of locos were cancelled.
The best loco of the war was the BR 50 class, the construction of the BR 52 class was not foreseen in any construction program, least of all the one for 1939.

In 1941, the need for a new, simpler type became apparent.

These machines became, with an axle load of 15 tons and a maximum speed of 80 km/h (44 mph) forward or reverse, as good as the BR 50 class.
Significant amounts of materials and labor could be reduced, further reducing their cost.

Scale : 1:35
The 1:35 scale is mainly used for military model tanks, guns and trucks and the corresponding figures. The 1:35 scale model will be 35 times smaller than the actual tank. For example, if the vehicle is 5 m long, the model will measure 6 inches / 14.2 cm long (500/35 = 14.2). figures in the 1:35 scale are about 2 inches / 5 cm high.
