The Douglas C-47 Skytrain, developed from the Douglas DC-3, is one of the most famous and widely used military transport aircraft in history. Designed to meet the logistical needs of World War II, the C-47 stood out for its reliability, robustness and ability to carry much heavier loads than initially specified.
Among the most notable campaigns the C-47 participated in was "Flying the Hump", where it carried vital supplies over the Himalayan Mountains, on D-Day with paratroopers dropping behind the lines enemies, and the Berlin Airlift after the war. The versatility of the C-47 allowed the US military to use it not only during World War II, but also during the conflicts in Korea and Vietnam. Its durability and usefulness have meant that it is still in service today in several countries around the world.

F. Royston A very impressive kit of the superb MiG-29 Fulcrum. The kit is highly detailed with an arsenal of weapons options and two great marking options in the box, one Ukrainian and a Russian machine. I have wanted a big Fulcrum for some times, now I finally have one, great job Trumpeter! *
A. Anonymous The trumpeter 1/32 Lightning has to be the best 1/32 scale kit on this subject,the detail is fantastic,although you may wish to source aftermarket decals. *
A. Anonymous The "ultimate" Flogger variant comes in a box absolutely packed with sprues. The kit itself is well detailed and boasts a complete engine and removable rear fuselage to display it. There's lots of ordnance to hang off your Flogger and markings are courtesy of two Afghan War machines from the late 80s. Overall, should build into an impressive replica of the real MiG-23. *
