For example, a model 1:72 scale airplane measures 8 inches / 20cm in length if the real object measures 14.4 m (1440 cm).
The figures in the 1:72 scale measure about 1 inch / 2.5cm high.

The figures are sold in boxes with several figures:
- in the 1:72 scale, the boxes usually contain 40-50 figurine soldiers, or 15 cavalry figures
- in the 1:32 or 1:35 scale, the boxes contain 10-15 figures of soldiers, or 5 to 10 cavalry.

I haven't started putting this pilot together for my F2F (he's not quite period but he's near enough!) but I have washed and examined the parts. This is a quality figure and I just hope my mediocre figure painting skills can do him justice. *
