Product description : Le Soleil Royal
Ship Model LE SOLEIL ROYAL
Its glitzy weapons with many cast in bronze, chiseled lanterns and gilded carvings give the boat a majestic appearance.
Le Soleil Royal was one of the finest boats in the fleet of Louis XIV, he sailed in 1669 from the yards of Brest.
It was designed by the famous French manufacturer L.
Hubac.
It was armed with 80 guns and distinguished himself in naval battles against the English at Beversiers and Aga.
In 1692, the Soleil Royal was attacked by the English fleet at Cherbourg and sent to the bottom.This model was made with striking décor to Sergal usual brand.
The hull is built of wood covered with a double skin in strips of walnut wood parts are laser cut.
108 artillery pieces and fittings are cast brass.
All remaining ornaments are cast brass.
All necessary hardware parts are either walnut or brass.The timeline of nine sheets, numerous sketches and extraordinary details greatly facilitate the construction of the model.

Amerigo Vespucci curious that there is a Dutch text on the different pages, but easy! many brass parts, but moderately explained in detail. What is stated as WALNUT, is NOT present as such, so that is blown biting. Whether everything is complete , will have to be seen during construction. The order via the site was rather difficult because it was not clearly indicated how you could specify the payment. By the end of the day, just click on save!! it eventually worked. *

A. Anonymous Victory Hello everyone, having built fifteen models in my life, after a long break I got back to it. I note that after so many years the kits are still identical except for a few details. The structure of the boat is basic, if you want to get closer to the truth you have to improve. I think that at this price (€549) manufacturers could make a little extra effort. For the rest, the fittings are of good quality and the plans are precise and 1001 models is a nice and serious store. Therefore I remain on a good impression. See you soon ! *
