The Junkers Ju-87 also known as the Luftwaffe dive bomber used during World War II. The idea of the dive bomber came from the American military in the 1920s. The Americans, aware of the Japanese rise to power, decided to set up a precision attack plan to hit a moving target more effectively than a conventional bomber would do in horizontal flight.
