What is the MIG-29 FULCRUM ?


The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 (NATO code Fulcrum) is a Soviet air supremacy fighter developed in the early 1970s, which made its maiden flight on 6 October 1977. It entered Soviet military service in 1983, but is no longer operated by the Russian Air Force. However, it is still used and ordered by many other countries. More than 1,100 have been built so far. It will be the 5th most used fighter aircraft in the world in 2020, with an estimated 817 aircraft in operation, or 6% of the world's fighter fleet.
