All about the Kyosho Inferno MP10 buggy
A new design for this emblematic buggy of Kyosho
Designed by Yuichi Kanai, the new Kyosho Inferno MP10 models will delight you and give you an edge over the competition. The body design features a steep angle on the front section to increase steering response on all modern track conditions. Likewise, the body style around the engine is similar to that of the Supercars and channels the airflow for better engine cooling. The main chassis is made of 3mm thick 7075 aluminum. It is anodized to produce a much harder surface for optimal strength and durability. The new radio control features a revised servo position and increased strength with a thickness of 3.0 mm, compared to 2.5 mm previously.
What is the technical performance of the Kyosho Inferno?
The Kyosho Inferno MP10 models evolve with even greater performance for the battle of the race. For many years, the MP9 was at the top of the 1/8 scale engine racing buggies. Having inherited that DNA, the MP10 now embodies the next generation with models like the TKI2 and MP10T nitro representing this continued evolution of the Inferno series. Among the new changes from the MP9 are features such as width and wheelbase that have been optimized for optimal performance on different types of tracks and surfaces. Weight distribution and superior aerodynamics have also been improved for the production of the world's best performing 1/8 buggy. The oil shocks offer exceptional performance on a wide variety of track types and use standard 1.3mm x 8 hole pistons. The Kyosho Inferno MP10 also has important features such as:
A lightweight multi-piece spoiler and reinforced front and rear lower suspension arms
New aluminum front spindles with improved Ackermann
Extended steering rods and a reduced angle of the suspension wedges
Reinforced servo saves and shock absorber adjusting rings with position indicator
Enlarged radio box 93mm CVD shafts now identical front and rear
Redesigned air filter Reinforced 6.8mm ball joints and much stronger shock socks, taken from the 777
The different engines of the Kyosho Inferno MP10
The motorization of the MP10 can be thermal or electric in brushless version. The thermal engine has a displacement of 3.49 cc and is generally intended for 1/8th scale model cars. It is equipped with an integrated launcher and a fuel drawer with integrated spring. As for the electric motor, the evolution of the technology and the batteries allows to reach speeds comparable to the thermal models. The silent operation of the electric motor allows for even more possibilities to enjoy the performance of the 1/8th off-road category.
You will also find all our RC car model parts available in accessory kits or in spare parts ranging from chassis stiffeners, shock absorber mounts to inferno suspension bushings at affordable prices. On each of the parts needed for the assembly, you have all the details to know the compatibility with your Kyosho Inferno car.
